Lid for round box made from H.M.S. 'Royal Sovereign'

Lid for round oak box. The lid has a round silver plaque in its centre and a silver band round the rim. The plaque is inscribed: ' England expects every Man will do his Duty'. The rim is inscribed: 'Made from a part of HMS Royal Sovereign by E. Rotheram Esq. which ship he was Captain of in the memorable Battle off Trafalgar. 21st Oct 1805'. The box is decorated with turned concentric grooves.
