Round box made from H.M.S. 'Royal Sovereign'
Round oak box. The lid with a round silver plaque in centre and a silver band round the rim. the plaque is inscribed: ' England Expects every Man will do his Duty'. Rim: 'Made from a part of HMS Royal Sovereign by E. Rotheram Esq. which ship he was Captain of in the memorable Battle of Trafalgar 21st Oct 1805'. The box is decorated with turned concentric grooves.
