Three smalschips under way
Three smalschips, each in a different position. On the left, a lee quarter view with the wind on the starboard quarter; in the centre, a weather quarter view, close-hauled; and to the right a starboard broadside view of a vessel in the wind. This may be an observational study of the same smalschip, made at intervals as it turned into the wind.
