Di (far left) has been with the RNLI since 2003, becoming a Helm and volunteer Mechanic. Di moved to Harwich station after this photograph was taken, becoming the first woman in RNLI history to be a full-time Mechanic. She then qualified as the first full-time woman Coxswain in 2021.
