Approaching the stern of the oil drilling ship Glomar Grand Banks (1972) taken from a Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm Bo 105C helicopter south of Sicily Italy. According to the photographer's autobiography, the vessel was stationed 3 miles south of Cape Scaramia in Sicily. The vessel's helipad is on the stern. This is Slide 10 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Navigator for the delivery voyage of the oil drill ship Glomar Grand Banks (1972) owned by Glomar Marine Inc from 11 March 1980 to 17 March 1980. This series consists of 23 slides.
