Emsworth luggers
A fishing boat, apparently carvel-built unlike the Emsworth luggers featured in the H.O. Hill collection, lies aground at a mooring in a channel at Emsworth, heeled slightly to port. The boat lacks a bowsprit or the housing for one beside the stem. A portion of the starboard gunwale near the stem has been cut out, possible following damage. The hull shape is full and nearly flat-bottomed amidships. Standing rigging and mast are in place.
