Billingsgate
This view shows the north bank of the Upper Pool and London Bridge, with barges, lighters and other vessels moored in the Pool. Cannon Street station is visible beyond the bridge. The work is signed 'W L Wyllie', lower left. Wyllie spent some time in the 1870s living on a barge and painting marine views of London and the Medway.
