HMS 'Thames', Submarine Depot Ship
A good impression of the submarine depot ship 'Thames', at moorings, from off the staboard quarter. Built by Pembroke Dockyard as a second-class cruiser and launched on 3 December 1885, she was converted to a depot ship in 1903-04. She is shown here in the 1910-13 period. [BTodd/PvdM 7/13]
