Lima Cathedral
A black and white landscape photograph showing three Peruvian people, including a child, walking past a circular fountain in front of Lima Cathedral and several palm trees. All three figures have their backs to the camera. The tallest figure, who is walking in front, is wearing a hat. Smaller figures can be seen sitting on benches in front of the building and by palm trees towards the bottom right-hand corner of the image. The cathedral is neo-classical and has two large bell towers with spires, four visible doors and two windows. Each tower features a clock. The fountain has a central tiered structure. A lamppost is located on the right-hand side of the photograph. Original caption (handwritten in white beneath the photograph): ‘LIMA CATHEDRAL; February 1938’.
