Thomas Allen. HMS Victory
original art: drawing. See also BHC2510, PAI1595, PAD3457. A portrait of Nelson's servant (1771-1838), though he missed Trafalgar. He did further naval service 1809-12, and by 1817 was a servant to William Bolton, Nelson's brother-in-law, after whose death he was admitted as a Greenwich Pensioner in October 1831.
