The Right Honble Sr George Rooke Vice-Admiral of England &c
State without engraver’s name. An oval bust-length portrait of George Rooke (c. 1650–1709) in a long wig and armour. Lettered beneath the image with the title, ‘The Right Honble. Sr. George Rooke Vice Admiral of England &c. Admiral and Commander in Chiefe of Her Majesties Fleet &c. And one of Her Majesties most Honourable Prive Council.’ Also lettered with the production details and publication line, ‘M. Dahll 1704. / Sold by I. Smith at ye Lyon & Crown in Russel Street Covent Garden.’ This portrait was engraved by Robert Williams after a painting by Michael Dahl, produced in 1704. The print was published by John Smith.
