Dutch ships at anchor in an estuary
Viewed from the port broadside are about seven ships at anchor across the background, a rear-admiral is in the centre and an admiral is on the left. A States yacht passes the nearest ship on the left. Two boats are in the middle distance and part of a pier is visible on the left.
This drawing is similar in style to PAH1759 but marred by the addition, perhaps by a later hand, of a rather clumsy brown wash.
