England - Plate 12.( A Greenwich Pensioner)
A portrait of a typical Greenwich Pensioner in uniform, with a left peg-leg, set on a capriccio heathland knoll with part of the roof and the domes of the Hospital almost in line behind. No artist is given on the plate but it may be by J. C. Ibbetson and appears to be from a series of 'England' aquatints published by John Murray.
