The comming of ye King's Matie and ye Queenes from Portsmouth to Hampton court (Charles II and Catherine of Braganza)

The sixth of a series of 7 prints [PAH4098-PAH4104] showing the progress of the Infanta Catherine of Braganza from Lisbon to marry Charles II in England. These were created by the Spanish court artist Dirk Stoop to commemorate her journey, and were produced with captions in various languages, including English, Portuguese and German.

This example has English and Portuguese inscriptions and shows the progress of the now married Charles and Catherine from Portsmouth to Hampton Court.
