The Dutch Fleet in light airs
On the left is the commander-in-chief's ship, possibly the 'Zeven Provincien' under easy sail. Astern of her is a ship with a flag at the main; on the left a galjoot at anchor, with other ships at anchor in the right distance. A coastline is in the centre distance. This may be an offset, as the pencil is very weak and rubbed. Watermark: none. Prov: Leake coll; Robinson II, 1022.
