Portrait of French naval vessel L' Incorruptible

This watercolour shows L'Incorruptible at anchor outside a harbour wall, with a watch tower, along a mountainous coastline. A small rowing skiff, with a single occupant, is moored to her stern and another, with two figures, is along the starboard side. A naval sailing cutter, approaching the l'Incorruptible on a starboard tack, is full of people and a uniformed figure stands at the stern. Various figures can be seen on the deck of l'Incorruptible.
