The Scarwedean
Pen-and-ink sketch, shaded with pencil and blue crayon, of a starboard broadside view Scandinavian built wooden barque with painted ports, skysails to fore and main and a windmill pump (an onker) abaft the mainmast. Inscribed beneath the image ‘The Scarwegian’ [?]. The image is traced on the back of the sheet with an inscription, in a different hand, ‘The Scarwedean’.
