The Opening of the New London Bridge by their most Gracious Majesties William the 4th & Queen Adelaide (with key)
The full title of this print was 'The opening of the new London Bridge by their most Gracious Majesties William the 4th & Queen Adelaide.' As befitted the most important river crossing in London, the new bridge was opened with as much pomp as possible, with King William IV and Queen Adelaide presiding. The bridge was completed by Sir John Rennie, to the designs of his later father.
