The ship Queen
A double portrait of the ship ‘Queen’ shown ship rigged and broadside-on. It was probably painted in about 1840. The second view of the ship is on the right and shows the ship from the stern. There are a large number of figures visible on the deck and the ship flies a flag with her name inscribed. There is coastline in the distance on the far left.
