The Naval Review at Spithead, Her Majesty the Queen Reviewing the Fleet in Action

This coloured lithograph depicts the Naval Review at Spithead on 11th August 1853, based on a drawing by Sir Oswald Walters Brierly. At the time of the print’s creation, Brierly was working for the publisher Day & Son. ‘The Prince Regent’ features prominently in the centre of the picture. Many of the other ships in the picture can be identified with the key below the image.
