Triple expansion engine inscribed with the words 'W SISSON \&\ Co LTD ENGINEERS \&\ NAVAL ARCHITECTS GLOUCESTER No. 2601 1927' and 'TESTED TO 100LBS 2.5.27'. Installed in the Thames river steamer 'Mapledurham' owned by Salter Bros. of Oxford, a steel hulled vessel of 1927.
