Wine glass

Wine glass commemorating the Battle of Quiberon Bay. It has an ogee bowl and a very long, white opaque twist stem (two outer threads of twelve enclosing two plain bands). The foot is domed and folded with a pontil mark. The bowl is wheel-engraved with two warships and Britainnia holding an olive branch. Inscribed around the rim: 'SUCCESS TO THE BRITISH FLEET 1759.'
