Domino box

The inside of this Domino box is decorated with a British sailor mourning at a bust of Nelson. This was a common theme on souvenirs and commemorative pieces after the Battle of Trafalgar. This particular piece was made by a French prisoner-of-war and sold to provide the prisoner with a little income.
