Canadian Forces Decoration medal, 1949-1952
Awarded to Captain Edmond Oswald Ormsby RCN. Obverse: Head of King George VI (L). Legend: "GEORGVS VI D:G:BRITT:OMN:REX: FID:DEF:". Reverse: Royal Cypher on maple leaves with crown above and RAF-style eagle below with inscription scroll incribed "SERVICE". Fitted on a suspension bar inscribed "CANADA" and a red ribbon with three narrow white stripes. Mounted court-style with five others.
