Obverse: A gold cross of four double points each with a gold ball tip, enamelled white, between each pair of arms, a gold crown. In the centre a gold sheaf (Vasa) surrounded by a gold oval, enamelled red, bearing in gold, the inscription: "GUSTAF.III.INSTIKTARE MDCCLXXII". Reverse the same. Suspended from a pierced gilt crown by a scroll. Above, a gold ring secures the badge to a plain green moire ribbon. Mounted on a bar with eleven others.
