Submarine cable section
A shore end submarine cable sample, type AA2 180/150 lbs/nm, mounted to stand upright with baize underneath. There is a double core containing copper wire. Hemp serving. The outer sheathing of iron wires with covering of tarred hemp and compound. Inscription and logotype on top, inscription and date on base.
