Submarine cable section
A shore end submarine cable sample. It is a type AA2 750/325 lbs/nm, mounted to stand upright with baize underneath. There is a double core containing copper wire. Hemp serving. Outer sheathing of iron wires with covering of tarred hemp and compound. Inscription and logotype on top, inscription and date on base.
