18 carat gold-cased local time pocket watch, with duplex escapement. The inner back of the watch is engraved with various ports and time differences. The watch displays Greenwich Mean Time and another local time by means of two minute hands. The dial has roman hour numerals with minute divisions and a subsidiary seconds dial at VI.
