Knife
A relic of Sir John Franklin's last expedition 1845-48. A tool with axe shaped stone blade and walnut handle probably made from a musket or other fire-arm. The item is possible a skin scraper. It was found by the Burwash Expedition 1925-26 on King William Island. The item is marked 'G'. It was presented to the Royal Naval Museum, Greenwich in 1927 by the Canadian Government.
