Domed gilt button. Rope twist edge. Within a raised circular border on a lined background is a pre-1901 crown over a foul anchor with the rope tied to the ring at the top, then goes under the right-hand side of the stock and goes under the shank to the left and then over the shank to the right and disappears under the right arm. An R is at the end of the left-hand side of the stock and an A is at the end of the right-hand side of the stock.
