Arrow
An arrow, which is part of a collection of ethnographical material made by Admiral Sir George Back (1796-1878). It has three radial feather flights tied to the shaft at the ends of the feathers. Each end of the shaft is painted red. A small iron head with spurs fits into a slit in the foreshaft and is attached by sinew lashing.
