'Abeona'
This drawing bears a mention to commander Alexander Weynton; this may refer to Alexander Weynton (1789-1847) who, according to one of his descendants, was possibly on board the 'Abeona' in 1812 during the War of American Independence. Weyton's sons, Alexander Weynton (1827-61) and John Weynton (1818-62), were also master mariners.
