Ditty box
Ditty box containing a picture of William John Boots, stoker 1st class RN (1888-1952) in uniform. A plain wooden box with an uninscribed brass plate on the front. Hinged and fitted with a lock. Grooves in the sides for an extra compartment now missing. Narrow slot above name plate.
