Writing case. Wooden box with brass handles on ends and mask. Clutches at sides and a mirror inside the lid. Lined with green leather. Fitted at back with two china ink pots in blue and yellow, which have contained red and black ink. There are two scent boxes and a small lidded compartment in the centre.
