Seal
A seal which belonged to Lieutenant William Rivers (1788-1856). A metal oblong desk seal with canted corners and a hardwood handle. The engraved design shows a wooden leg and fastening strap. Inscription: 'Trafalgar / Oct 21 / 1805'. Rivers lost a leg at the Battle of Trafalgar.
