Locket

Oval locket, contained within a glazed, gilt metal setting. The setting comes complete with a suspension ring on a hinge. On the front of the locket is a miniature, painted on ivory, depicting a naval battle in the background. The glazing is decorated in verre églomisé with a warship, which appears to be in the foreground of the battle scene. The ivory miniature also bears the name 'VICTORY'. There is an empty compartment at the back of the locket, which is lined with pink silk.
