Medal commemorating the Congress of Munster, 1647. Obverse: Starboard broadside view of a battleship at sea under foresail, main and foretop sails, with flags carrying the arms of Zeeland, the States-General, the Prince of Orange and the Admiralty Council. Legend: 'TIMIDE AC PRUDENTER'. Reverse: Inscription within a floral festoon, 'Dum bellu octuagenarium in Belgio, studio pacis, subito defervescit, ipsumq pacis negotium Monasterii circa comoda faederatoru[m], ad huc fluctuat; Ordines Zelandiae, tam suspensis rebus ac sollicitis consiliis, in perpetuum monumentu[m] hoc numisma cudi iusserunt : XII Decembr M DCXLVII'.
