Tetradrachm
A tetradrachm of Demetrius Poliorcetes, King of Macedon, commemorating the Battle of Salamis in Cyprus, 306 BC. Obverse: The goddess Nike, standing on the prow of a galley. Reverse: Poseidon, nude, standing, his trident poised in his right hand, a chlamys over his left arm, a labrys to his left. Greek inscription (Of King Demetrius).
