ADMIRAL . DE . FCE.' Reverse: Port-quarter view of the 'Argo', manned and armed under sail, the Golden Fleece suspended from a spar aft. Legend: 'PATET VLTIMA TERRA TRIVMPHIS.' (The most remote land opens to its triumphant progress.) Exergue: '. MARINE . . 1698 .' Cartagena was captured by Commodore de Pontis in 1697.
