Counter commemorating M. de Radonay's new mortar. Obverse: Bust of Admiral Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Comte de Toulouse (1678-1737) in armour and mantle. Legend: 'L . ALEXA . DE BOURBON C . DE TOULOUZE ADMIRAL DE FCE.' Reverse: A mortar mounted on a four-wheeled truck, a tower (right). Legend: 'STRAGEM EMISSA DEDISSET.' (Laden with slaughter, had it been discharged.) Exergue: 'MARINE 1736.'
