Harness, sledge
Used on Nares' Arctic expedition 1875. Belonged to Lieutenant A A C Parr, HMS "Alert". A webbing belt with a length of rope attached to two eyes at the end. The rope is in two sections with a brass eye in the middle and a washer at the end marked with a broad arrow.
