Reverse: James II in a small boat on the Thames with Sir Edward Hales, passing the stairs at Lambeth. The King is throwing the Great Seal into the river. Legend (on scroll): 'JAMES . II . ABDICATION.' Exergue: 'A . D . 1688.'
