DUKE OF EDINBURGH'. The whole surrounded by an ornamental border. Reverse: Starboard broadside view of the 'Galatea', under steam and sail, the topgallant sails in the act of being taken in. Legend: 'TO COMMEMORATE THE VISIT OF H. R. H. PRINCE ALFRED, DUKE OF EDINBURGH K. G. TO AUSTRALIA.' Exergue: 'H. M. S. GALATEA 1867.'
