A Spanish dollar. Obverse: Engraved on a smooth surface port broadside view of a battleship under full sail except for mainsail. Inscribed below: 'Chas Aston 1782', (on a band) 'FOUDROYANT'. Reverse: The arms of Spain crowned within columns entwined by a scroll, bearing the words PLUS / ULTRA. Legend: 'HISPAN . ET . IND . REX . MO . 8R . F . F.' Probably loot.
