Admiralty protection medal. Obverse: View of a lighthouse between a buoy and a beacon. Legend: 'IN SALUTEM OMNIUM NORTHERN LIGHTHOUSES.' Reverse: An eight-line inscription: 'MEDAL REFERRING TO ADMIRALTY PROTECTION AND A DESCRIPTION OF THE PERSON BY THE ENGINEER.' Medallion with loops attached at top and bottom. Issued to provide Admiralty protection from impressment.
