Rectangular shaped ingot. Obverse: Starboard broadside view of USS 'Constitution', sails set. Inscription: 'U.S.S. CONSTITUTION'. Reverse: Inscription: 'U.S.S.CONSTITUTION 1812. Nicknamed "Old Ironsides" the U.S.S. "Constitution" is one of the best-known ships in the history of the United States Navy. Noted for her victory over H.M.S. "Guerriere" in the war of 1812, she is moored in Boston Naval Shipyard and is the flagship of the commandant of the First Naval District.'
