Prize medal, Royal Naval Training Ship
Inscription. Obverse: A foul anchor, with Royal Crown above. Legend: "ROYAL NAVAL TRAINING SHIP: REWARD OF MERIT". Reverse: Inscription within a wreath of laurel tied with a bow. Inscr. "PRESENTED TO (space for recipient's name) AS A REWARD OF MERIT". Clasp inscribed on reverse: "T.B.BAILEY COVENTRY REGD OCT 10 1856 NO.3888". Fitted with a loop and ring blue ribbon missing and clasp of laurel leaves.
