Conspicuous Gallantry Medal
Obverse: Bust of King George V in naval uniform, orders and medals (L). Legend: "GEORGIVS V BRITT:OMN:REX ET IND:IMP:". Reverse: A laurel wreath, tied with a bow, the royal crown above. Inscription: "FOR CONSPICUOUS GALLENTRY". Suspended from a clasp and white ribbon edged with blue, (before 1921 the ribbon was equal stripes of blue/white/blue). Inscription on edge: "SPECIMEN".
