A six pointed star, uniface, surmounted by a circular band crowned containing within it the Royal monogram 'G.R.I. VI.' Legend: 'THE ITALY STAR'. A specimen. Fitted with a ring and white ribbon with a central pale green stripe and scarlet border, all equal width.
