Demonstration gyroscope
Consists of a brass gyro wheel 2.75" (7cm) dia. mounted within a brass ring 3.75" (9.5cm) dia. which is pivoted within a "U" shaped brass bracket. the "U" bracket is mounted by a steel rod attached at the base of the "U" frame on a brass stand 4.5" (11.4cm) high.
In a fitted wooden box; containing a brass cylinder filled with lead shot 0.6" (1.5cm) dia., a steel rod 6.2" (15.8cm) long, a wooden cone, a wooden handle with string (for starting gyro), and a packet of "Steel Balls".
